Day 362 – Stay A Little Longer
One of my biggest mistakes when starting out in my photographic journey was leaving after I thought the best light had passed. I now make sure I stay a little longer, because like this morning, a dull grey sunrise can quickly throw a splash of colour out for a moment and make things a little more interesting.

Beautiful shot. I am glad that you stayed!
Thanks… so was I. I was very close to leaving!
Very nice!
Thanks Andrew.

Merci!
Agree with the thinking – you’ve made all the effort to get out to a good location, you may as well take your time and see what turns up.
Thanks… It doesn’t always work – but it beats kicking yourself when your driving 5 minutes later, and you see some beautiful colours in your rear view mirror!
Isn’t that the truth Ian? Great things happen to those that wait.
I sure hope so Emily…
Thank you.
Magnificent sunset pic, Ian. Love it.
The ocean foreground makes it really breathtaking.
Thanks so much. I think it makes things so much nicer when you can create some interest in the foreground. Doesn’t always go to plan though.
Another cracking shot Ian, keep them coming.
Thanks so much Steve. I hope I can keep the standard up.
