Day 163 – Moon At Its Closest

With the moon at its closest in 18 years, I headed down to the jetty to catch a view of it – this was taken just after sunset.

It’s apparently only about 356 955km from us at the moment… So close! 😀

  1. Amazing shot! We are heading out to kayak on the lake and try to catch some pictures. Could be a challenge with no tripod – but will see what we can get.

    • Thanks Anita. Good Luck… Could be hard, but these were both handheld shots so it is possible if the conditions are good. Being on water in a kayak adds a whole new player to the game though. 😀

    • Thank you! It isn’t the easiest thing to catch… and you only have a small window of opportunity if the conditions are great too so I completely understand. 🙂
