Day 277 – Tail Of The Storm
I thought I might be able to catch the end of a storm passing over the coast at Sawtell tonight – and I did… just! I managed to catch the last 2 strikes closer to the coast. This was the larger of them.
It wasn’t as good as what I wanted, so I will add a few from about a month ago from a storm passing by Coffs Harbour for your viewing pleasure. 🙂
Terrific captures Ian. All great shots but I really like the purple color in the first image.
Thanks Edith. I am actually surprised it turned out half ok…. It was that dark I didn’t even realize that there was water right in front of me… lucky! 😀
Incredible. One of my photography goals is to capture a lightening storm.
Thanks so much Lindy. I am really hoping for some awesome summer storms this year so I can do some more too. 🙂
This is really cool ! One day I’ll learn how to capture lightening. Just wonderful Ian!
Thanks Bella. Right time and right place… along with a remote camera release and you are good to go. 🙂
Stunning! I, too, love the purple colors. 🙂
Thanks Nicole. I almost toned down the purple colour too! 😀
love love love this! I could see it as a great big wall hanging.
Thanks so so so much! hehe 🙂
