Day 297 – Path To A Fiery Sunset
With the smoke looming over the horizon I thought it may be a good sunset opportunity, but I wanted something a little different to my normal beach shots. I found this little spot where the path seemed to lead off into the sunset, and decided to plant my feet right here.
The test shot was nice, but I wanted more (as always… 🙂 ). I re-adjusted my setup and shot as wide as I could – I really liked the curve of the water line and just wanted it to go on forever. Now I just waited for the sun to go down a little, opened the shutter and stood back to enjoy the last remaining light. This is what I came up with… hope you all like!
stunning photograph!! the colours, composition just perfect!!!
Thanks so much. I thought it was a good photo on the camera screen, but when I opened it on my computer, I even thought it was beautiful! 😀

Thank you Bella. The title really was staring me in the face for this one. 🙂
What a beautiful scene to watch unfold before your eyes. You captured it very well – the sea looks like it was painted in. 🙂
Thanks Roo. Was well worth the trek to find this little spot. 🙂
Super!
Thank you John. 🙂
Very atmospheric. And the path in the foreground is excellent placed!
Thank you. The path was definitely the key point for me in this photo. 🙂

Thanks so much. I’m learning more and more about composition lately, and hopefully it can start to show through.
