Thank you. I do have a panoramic head – It’s a Nodal Ninja NN5. A bit of an overkill for what I use it for now, but I had gigapixel images in mind when I purchased it and just have not gotten to that stage yet.
Hehe… Awesome! I might have to start linking to Google Maps – Hang on… that might give away my secrets though! hmmmm… π
Thanks Emily… I really do appreciate how lucky I am on mornings like this one… after I have actually rushed to take the photo(s), I can sit back and enjoy the show! π
What an amazing sky! π
I know… It was just to awesome not to try and capture all of it! Thanks. π
Different view everyday from your “office” π
It’s terrible isn’t it? hehe…. Thanks. π
Stunning sky! Beautifully done!
Thank you so much. π
the colours!
Thanks Chas… It was a great morning to be up nice and early. π
You can tell the true photographer by the number of sunrise shots – vs the wannabe photographers with their lazy sunsets. (I’m clearer the latter!)
This is just stunning!
Thanks Melinda, much appreciated! π
Looks a great place Ian, the sky looks incredible. Do you have a special pano-head on your tripod for these multi-image shots?
Always like to try and find these places on Google Maps, think I can see whereabouts you were stood π

Holy cow… Greatest compliment ever! hehe. Thank you. π
Absolutely stunning. HDR?
Thanks Suze, much appreciated. It sure is a HDR! I find I have to use HDR to get some sort of correct exposure across the scene. π
WOW ! What an incredible sky. You are so lucky.
